About Dr.Swati
Meet Dr. Swati Pawar
Founder, Magnum Consultancy Services | Career Counsellor
I am Dr. Swati Pawar, Founder of Magnum Consultancy Services and a Certified Career Counsellor with 12+ years of experience across the corporate world and career counselling.
I believe that meaningful career decisions begin with understanding the individual—not simply looking at marks, trends or popular career choices.
Every person has a unique combination of strengths, interests, personality, abilities, motivations and aspirations. My role is to help individuals understand these dimensions, explore possibilities and make informed decisions about their education, career and future.
I work with children, students, graduates, working professionals and adults at different stages of their career journey—from understanding a child's strengths and learning preferences, to stream and subject selection, career planning, higher education, career change, career restart and exploring meaningful opportunities after retirement.
My corporate experience gives me a practical understanding of the world of work, organisational environments, professional expectations and career transitions. I bring this perspective into counselling to help bridge the gap between understanding who you are and exploring where you can go.
My philosophy is simple: Understand Yourself. Explore Your Possibilities. Choose With Clarity.

Corporate Experience That Adds Real-World Context to Counselling
My professional journey spans 12+ years across corporate and career counselling environments. This experience gives me an understanding of not only the individual making a career decision, but also the professional environments they may eventually enter and grow within.
Understanding the World of Work
My years in the corporate environment have given me first-hand exposure to how people work, communicate, grow and adapt within professional settings.
This experience has helped me understand what contributes to success and satisfaction at work—from recognising individual strengths and building effective communication to understanding motivation, workplace expectations, career growth and transitions.
It gives me a practical view of the professional world, beyond what can be understood through assessments or academic choices alone.
How This Strengthens My Counselling
I bring this practical understanding of the workplace into my career counselling approach.
For students and young adults, it helps me connect their strengths, interests, abilities and aspirations with a clearer understanding of how those qualities may translate into future study and career environments.
For working professionals, it helps us look more realistically at career growth, changing roles, motivation, upskilling and possible transitions.
The objective is to help individuals make choices that are not only personally suitable, but also informed by the realities of education, careers and the world of work.
Understanding the Person + Understanding the World of Work
This combination allows career counselling to move beyond simply identifying one occupation and instead explore the individual, suitable possibilities and the practical steps that may connect the two.
Which career should I choose?
Who am I, what possibilities may fit me, and what steps can I take towards them?
Career counselling is about helping individuals understand who they are, what possibilities may suit them, how those possibilities connect with the real world, and which meaningful next steps they can explore.
